Coast Folk is the beginning of a larger body of work that will follow the way people live across the Southeastern United States. This first collection is rooted in the Gulf Coast... a place where tides shape time, seafood traditions connect families, and folklore is passed down like heirlooms. I wanted to capture the everyday moments of coastal living alongside the timeless stories told through its wildlife, weather, and work on the water. It is both a celebration and a preservation of the unique spirit of the coast. Coast Folk seeks to honor this way of living, to show the magic hidden in the ordinary details of coastal life, and to set the stage for future explorations of other regions across the South. - Adam Trest
