The collection is meant to be a series of soulful oil paintings honoring the gathered, cherished, and familiar objects that grace a Southern table. As I meditated on the idea longer, I found inspiration everywhere-- an heirloom napkin, timeless silverware, tomatoes from this summer's garden, etc.
