Land Between States

• Created by artists with special needs and dedicated volunteers, Land Between States explores connection through texture, craftsmanship, and place.  A sculpted Mississippi silhouette, formed with textured spackling, is accented by wooden beads tracing the Mississippi River in warm neutral and copper tones.  Unique textures distinguish the surrounding states, while different artists hand-sew each border, celebrating collaboration and the individuality that unites the region.
