• This striking monochromatic artwork was created by adults with special needs during a collaborative workshop focusing on texture, pattern, and craftsmanship. Using upcycled gray fabrics, soft leathers, and salvaged materials like wood and foam, the group formed a rising sun that feels both grounded and symbolic. Each participant took turns hammering, stapling, and shaping each element— building tactile landscape and celebrating unity, rhythm, and resilience. The piece showcases the power of both shared hands and quiet strength, turning simple materials into a bold expression of hope and structure.
