Stained Glass Garden by Amy Cespedes

We are so delighted to welcome Amy to the Caron Gallery family. Her unique style leans toward folk art, and her color palettes and imagery are fun and exciting. From iconography to Southern flora, Amy celebrates life properly.

Lemons and Lilies

Amy uses a technique, similar to Adam Trest, while painting. She paints in reverse. Starting with base layers and colors then top coats. She goes back in and carves out her imagery into fantastical expressions of her favorite things.

 Cherry Tree Stained Grass Window

For this collection Amy chose to paint with acrylics on wood panel. She even used a few interesting frames to create intrigue like the one below.

Pomegranate Tree

Amy was inspired to by cathedral windows, fruit, flowers, and birds for Stained Glass Garden. Some of our favorites are the spider lilies and magnolias.

Magnolias and Spiderlilies

Amy spent time daily arranging florals and immersed in a study of architecture and nature while creating this collection.

Yellow Roses, Green Hydrangeas, and Satsumas

Amy is so glad to be able to introduce her work to a new crowd and we're delighted to have her on board. She hopes that seeing her work will simply make you happy.
