• This radiant mixed media piece was created by our Shine Friends using upcycled material to form sunbeams that celebrate light, creativity, and community. Buttons, fabric scraps, wallpaper, and watercolor are thoughtfully layered to create textured rays—each one unique and full of personality. At the heart of the piece is a sun center lovingly crafted by a featured artist using torn fabrics hand-woven on a loom. A tribute to patience, care, and individual brilliance, the entire work is framed in a repurposed vintage quilting loom, grounding the piece in both tradition and transformation.
