• The natural burlap fabric centered in our hand-made frame offers a clean backdrop for the handiwork of many artists. Slow and steady, in a simple pattern with the use of a needle and yarn, the rays were lovingly hand stitched one at a time in rotation by our Shine friends. The thicker crocheted rays and center sun were reclaimed from our donation bins, but the opportunity to configure true sunlight evolved through sewing intervals of hand stitched rays and the process of slow stitching, which helped complete the look.
