• A vibrant art piece born from the Shine Redesigns workshops featuring hand- beaded wiring and leather stripping applied to an unexpected tool: chopsticks. The backdrop, made from reclaimed paneling, sets the stage for a vintage record that forms the center of a radiant sun. Each beaded wire strand was uniquely designed and assembled by individual artists using piles of donated beads and repurposed old jewelry, giving this piece a deeply personal and eclectic feel. Bold, rhythmic, and full of pattern, Rockin’ Rays, celebrates Tupelo’s local connection to music and the individual expression of many creators.
