Collection: About Rick Anderson
As a professional artist and retired art educator, it’s important to stay current. In 2022, I was honored to be a part of FabrianoInAcquarello, a meeting place in Italy for the international watercolor community of 1500+ artists. I will return in April 2023. Being a life long resident of Mississippi has influenced my art, but wherever I travel—the United States or abroad—influences my work. As a studio artist, I reference sketches, photos by me or my wife, Merrie, and travel notes. My work ranges from water media and collage on paper to 2-Dimensional works on canvas. I have also illustrated 10 children's books.
