Leigh Deen Francis is an artist specializing in the creation of kiln-formed glass art. A native Mississippian, Leigh's art is inspired by the wonder and beauty of natural surroundings. Her sculptures are thoughtfully designed and transformed by kiln firing multiple layers of glass, creating texture and depth of vibrant color that interact with light to produce luxurious works of art that enhance any setting. Her glass vessels are uniquely shaped through the use of molds sculpted by hand.

Leigh is primarily a self-taught artist who has studied with internationally renowned glass artist, Narcissus Quagliata, to deepen her knowledge of both the technical and creative aspects of transforming glass. Creating from her studio in Starkville, Mississippi, Leigh is continually learning and discovering new ways to transform glass, enamel and heat into objects of beauty that capture the heart as well as the imagination.
