Morgan Fyfe Powell is an abstract and landscape artist who draws inspiration from the beauty and stillness of the outdoors. Raised in Oxford, Mississippi she grew up surrounded by an abundance of creativity and began painting at a young age. After graduating from the University of Mississippi she moved to the Pacific Northwest and now calls Seattle home along with her husband, Jesse. She now paints full time and creates art from her studio in Seattle and family home in Oxford, MS.  Her work captures her interpretation of the warmth and hospitality of the South through her peace-filled landscapes, layered abstracts, and colorful still life paintings. In conjunction with creating work from her roots, her move to Seattle has been full of adventure and has challenged her to expand and paint the lush textures surrounding her in the Pacific Northwest.
