"The Oasis Release is a collection of paintings that have been created in collaboration with a set of oak, persimmon, and pecan trees which my studio lives beneath. I traced the shadows cast by the foliage on these trees and brought them into the paintings. These new forms that appear throughout this series have become fertile grounds from which new shapes have sprung.  In turn it has sown seeds for new works to come in the future."
