Paul says, “This is a house that used to stand on Jefferson St. near Tchoupitoulas in New Orleans. It’s state of elegant decay caught my eye and I knew it wouldn’t be around much longer – and it wasn’t. It’s a classic NOLA abode for sure. To me it symbolizes how a lot of New Orleanians feel about the city – there’s beauty even in it’s imperfections. I love the way the house and the garden seem to almost embrace in a way that’s “funky but chic” to quote the old song.”
