Meet Ashley Benton and her debut collection, Shared Skies!
We’re thrilled to welcome Ashley Benton as the newest artist to join the Caron Gallery family.
Based in Nashville, Ashley is a landscape painter whose work captures more than the beauty of a place—it captures how a place feels. Inspired by shifting light, changing skies, and the quiet wonder of nature, her oil paintings are vibrant, soft, and ethereal, with wispy brushstrokes that create a dreamlike sense of atmosphere.
After earning her B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Mississippi in 2020, Ashley began painting landscapes more frequently, developing a style rooted in vibrant color and a deep appreciation for the beauty found in everyday moments.
That appreciation is at the heart of her debut collection with Caron Gallery, Shared Skies.
The collection is inspired by the simple idea that, no matter where we live, we all share the same sky. Ashley draws from her experience living in different states, finding something comforting and universal in the fact that while places, people, and cultures change, the sky remains—a constant source of beauty.

Throughout Shared Skies, dramatic skies meet peaceful landscapes, fiery colors contrast with soft blues, and energetic brushwork gives way to quiet moments. Together, the pieces reflect the contrast of life and the beauty that comes from seeing the whole picture.
Ashley hopes the collection encourages viewers to pause, find meaning in beauty, and experience a little more awe in the world around them. Above all, she hopes her work brings hope and joy to those who view it.
