JULIE “JULES” WILLIAMSON

ABOUT JULIE WILLIAMSON

Jules Williamson was born and raised in Florence, Mississippi. She now resides in Brandon, Mississippi with her husband of twenty-four years, Scott, and their eight-year-old daughter Sara. Jules’s main job is advocating for and meeting the needs of her exceptionally-abled daughter who was diagnosed with Autism at the age of two. Sara is the light of their lives and Jules’s inspiration and motivation to paint.

Jules started painting at the early age of thirteen. She is primarily self-taught. In the beginning, her love of animals inspired many of her watercolors. Jules now paints mainly vibrant acrylic pieces with a variety of subjects, colors, textures and unique patterns. Jules has exhibited her work in various galleries in Mississippi and Florida. She is known for her wildlife paintings and her “swimmer” and “lady” acrylic works of art.
